We are currently seeking an Embedded Business Analyst to join our team. The Embedded Business Analyst is responsible for strategic business partnership and consultation, business data and translation, performance measurement and analytics, and data governance and continuous improvement.

Essential functions of the role:
Strategic Business Partnership & Consultation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business, product, and partner teams, helping shape questions, define success metrics, and clarify analytical needs
- Support cross-functional initiatives by bridging communication between product, operations, risk, compliance, and data teams
- Interpret and synthesize analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
Business & Data Translation
- Translate business objectives and partner requirements into structured data requests, logic definitions, and measurable KPIs
- Ensure alignment between business intent and technical execution, validating that outputs accurately reflect the original need
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to define data sources, calculations, and output requirements
Performance Measurement & Analytics
- Develop business cases, performance frameworks, and measurement strategies for embedded payment programs (e.g., card issuing, ACH, RTP)
- Create and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and recurring performance readouts for leadership
Data Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Drive consistency in metric definitions, data governance, and reporting standards across embedded payment programs
- Identify gaps in data availability, quality, or structure, and work with technology teams to address them
Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics translation, or consulting within banking, payments, or fintech
- Strong understanding of payments ecosystems (ACH, card networks, RTP, etc.)
- Experience working directly with data teams (data engineering, BI, analytics) to define and deliver outputs
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Working knowledge of SQL or ability to engage effectively with technical teams on data logic
