Job Description

Position Summary

As the Crisis Response Technology Analyst, you will provide critical technological and operational support to a 24/7 team of analysts operating across the USA, UK, and APAC, an operation that delivers actionable intelligence and strategic advice to decision makers.

You will run the day-to-day operation of the Crisis Management Projects & Technology team's crisis response systems: administering, configuring, and continuously improving the tools the analyst team relies on, with particular emphasis on the Everbridge Visual Command Center (VCC). This includes stewardship of the emergency alert program, where you will own the configuration, procedures, and cross-functional coordination that keep it running reliably.

Day-to-day, you’ll be directed by the client’s security leadership, while also reporting to Sibylline’s Embedded Operations Team. You’ll receive full support from our head office, including access to training and professional development resources to help you succeed in your role.

You will work on site at our client's offices in Austin, TX, during core hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There may be occasional requirements to support out-of-hours or weekend operations during crisis events and be part of a weekend on call rotation.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage the emergency alert program day-to-day: configuration, procedures, documentation, and the cross-functional coordination that keeps it running reliably.
  • Serve as configuration owner and super-user for the Visual Command Center, Everbridge, Veoci, and related tools, maintaining alerting logic, geofences and location data, contact and asset data, orchestration workflows, and integrations.
  • Author and continuously improve standard operating procedures and supporting policies for the team's systems and workflows.
  • Operationalize new technology across the analyst team: partner with the intelligence analyst team to roll out new capabilities and build the training and reference materials that drive adoption.
  • Own technology enhancement projects end to end with the client's information systems and technology team: gather and synthesize requirements from tool users, draft Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and manage delivery from intake through release.
  • Coordinate with the information systems and technology team, external vendors, the intelligence analyst team, and other client-specific teams to drive vendor development timelines and roadmaps to completion.
  • Triage and resolve day-to-day system issues, tracking to closure.
  • Own testing, quality control, and data quality, validating data integrity and accuracy before enhancements reach the analyst team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail, with the discipline to keep configuration, procedures, and documentation accurate and current.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to distil complex ideas into simple requirements and provide concise briefings to management on short turnaround, across audiences from engineers to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity for technology and a knack for understanding how systems work end to end. Technical or engineering skills are NOT required, but the candidate should be willing to research the tools in use and become the team's super-user.
  • Organized self-starter able to run multiple workstreams independently and perform well under pressure, with an all-hands-on-deck mindset during crisis events.
  • Ability to see around corners, anticipate challenges, and propose timely, sustainable solutions.
  • Interest in world events and the ability to assess them with comprehension of the bigger picture.
  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows and tools is a bonus, particularly to streamline documentation, requirements, and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field; Master's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project management experience and experience with Wrike are preferred.
  • Experience authoring SOPs, requirements documentation, or training materials is preferred.
  • Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
