Purpose of the Position – Energy Champion – Front of the House

The Energy Champion supports the Management Team in executing opening, closing, and overall shift responsibilities. This role actively promotes Eureka!’s values and culture through professional leadership, positive influence, and strong guest engagement.

You will interact with guests to provide warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service while contributing to an energetic and welcoming restaurant atmosphere. This is a hybrid role that includes supervisory responsibilities along with regular server or bartender shifts.

Essential Job FunctionsStrategic Restaurant Operations

Support restaurant success through guest engagement, high-quality food and beverage presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Participate in daily and weekly management meetings to contribute to improvements in sales performance, hiring initiatives, and team development.

Human Resources

Coach and support team members, communicate performance expectations, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Financial Operations

Assist in achieving restaurant goals through accurate forecasting, budgeting support, tracking performance variances, and helping implement corrective actions.

Cost Control

Help monitor portion standards and product usage, minimize food and supply waste, and support accurate inventory practices.

Compliance & Legal

Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, alcohol service, labor laws, and company standards.

Safety & Sanitation

Promote a safe and clean work environment by following sanitation procedures, legal requirements, and emergency protocols. Ensure opening and closing checklists are consistently completed.

Ambiance Control

Help curate the guest experience by supporting music selection, lighting levels, table presentation, indoor climate comfort, and coordination of special events when applicable.

Qualifications
  • Passionate ambassador of our values — EDC!

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Food Safety Manager Certification
  • TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position requires standing for extended periods, bending, lifting supplies, repetitive hand and wrist movement, and working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to hot and cold equipment. The setting may be busy and loud. Occasional travel may be required for training or company events, sometimes on short notice. Training may be conducted on-site, off-site, or virtually.
