Role Overview
Cartesian is seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst to lead business engagements and technical process architecture efforts supporting a Tier 1 Telecommunications provider’s large-scale digital transformation. This role is responsible for driving the definition, governance, and delivery of end-to-end BPMN process architecture and artifacts required to modernize core BSS/OSS platforms.

This individual sets direction, ensures delivery quality, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while guiding and mentoring process architecture team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of end-to-end business and system process architecture across complex, multi-domain transformation initiatives
- Analyze and synthesize business, technical, and architectural artifacts into coherent enterprise-level process and system flows
- Perform hands-on analysis of system artifacts, integrations, and service interactions, to define how systems communicate and exchange data across the enterprise.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership; facilitate high-level workshops to drive strategic alignment and formal sign-off
- Define and enforce standards of BPMN process documentation, modelling, and governance across programs and teams
- Oversee the creation and review of Application Context Diagrams (ACDs), System Interface Diagrams, and Business Process Models
- Oversee team members, project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables for the process architecture workstream to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of professional experience in technical architecture, enterprise analysis, or related consulting roles within complex corporate environments
- Deep experience leading process architecture efforts for large-scale enterprise systems or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong technical judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience coaching and mentoring teams on business process modelling and the creation of flow diagrams, with a strong emphasis on BPMN
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex client engagements in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Strong consulting background with the ability to lead client engagements and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable guidance
- Expertise in developing and reviewing ACDs, system interface diagrams, and end-to-end process models
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with SOX and/or operational controls within technical and business processes
- Telecommunications industry experience, particularly within BSS/OSS environments
- Experience supporting Tier 1 service providers or similarly complex enterprises
- Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles as they relate to operational and system controls
- Experience in business development or supporting the growth of a consulting practice
