Job Description:

EDGE Engineering is seeking Engineering Interns for the Summer of 2027. We treat our interns just like we do a new graduate EIT. Our interns gain real-world experience on drainage, aviation, flood control, and water quality analysis & design projects throughout the State of Texas. You will get to work alongside of EITs, Project Engineers, and Project Managers on interesting, complex, and impactful projects for various public sector clients. Job responsibilities will include performing hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, schematic and PS&E level design, preparing reports, construction cost estimates and specifications, and consistent communication and coordination. Applicant should be driven and committed to excellence and growth through hard work and dedication.

Full-time - Monday to Friday in office in either of our two offices; Austin & Houston.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program

  • Interest in drainage/stormwater and water quality analysis & design

  • Possess problem-solving and communication skills

  • Be able to work well with other team members

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to proficiently speak English

Compensation:

$25/hr. - $30/hr.
