We’re on the hunt for an Engineering Manager for our QuickFrame Marketplace team who doesn’t just manage—but inspires. What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with the Lead Staff Engineer to provide technical oversight on frontend and backend development, including serverless architectures, cloud infrastructure, and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with Technical Program Manager, Project Manager, Design, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute the roadmap.
- Partner with Technical Program Manager to translate business and product requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Encourage innovation and the adoption of modern frameworks and tools to enhance product capabilities and engineering practices.
- Ensure strong cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, and customer support on customer-facing initiatives.
- Own team operations, ensuring efficient processes for delivery, quality, and reliability.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams.
- Strong technical foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency with RESTful API design and event-driven systems; familiarity with tRPC is a plus.
- Familiarity with modern development practices: Agile, Git/SVN, CI/CD, and release management.
- Ability to balance leadership with occasional hands-on contributions when needed.
- Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers to deliver user-focused solutions.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, manage multiple priorities, and deliver impactful projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical execution with business needs.
