This Web Feature Adoption & Utilization Engineering Manager role is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-impact team responsible for core Dropbox experiences—owning critical functionalities like browsing, navigation, uploading, and content creation on dropbox.com, features used daily by millions of customers worldwide. As a central partner for multiple internal teams, you'll set clear strategic goals, manage team execution, and foster a collaborative, innovative culture focused on growth and operational excellence. You'll engage deeply with stakeholders across product, engineering, and senior leadership to drive alignment, prioritize effectively among diverse demands, and ensure your team consistently delivers high-quality experiences. This role positions you at the heart of Dropbox's ongoing focus on enhancing product quality and customer experience, making your contributions instrumental to the continued success and evolution of the platform.

Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours. If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment. Requirements
  • Ability to effectively triage team-specific and cross-functional requests to safeguard priorities and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Balancing near-term projects with longer-term investments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize projects effectively
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry software engineering experience, including 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams as an Engineering Manager
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building and maintaining mission critical, scalable systems
  • Experience developing and supporting highly reliable web scale systems
