Job Profile Title:                   Engineering Operations Mgr.

Location/ Division Specific Information-           Austin, TX / on-site/ M03

How will you make an impact?-

We are seeking an experienced technical program manager to oversee and manage the engineering operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and managing engineering resource capacity, preparing financial reports and forecast, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for tools and operations workflows. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work as a key contributor in a global management team.

What will you do? -  

  • Manage labor and non-labor budgets across a portfolio of engineering development projects

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures specific to engineering operations

  • Monitor and analyze engineering capacity metrics to identify areas needing improvement, investment or rebalancing

  • Reconcile engineering personnel, equipment, and materials budgets with quarterly financial targets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on operational performance

How will you get here? - 

Education:        

  •  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Distribution, Data Science or a related field is required

Experience:  

  • Proven experience in engineering operations management, preferably in a similar industry is required

  • 3- 5 Years relevant experience is required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • Strong knowledge of operational processes, best practices, and industry standards

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred

Annual Salary range: $103,000 - $185,600

Annual Target Bonus is: 20%
