Anchor Fabrication is hiring an Engineer Tech for our Denton, TX location. 

  1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include but are not limited to the following, other duties may be applied;

    1. Performing tasks inside of Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
    2. Performing tasks inside of Autocad
    3. Performing tasks and creating programs inside of TruTops Inch, Striker, and AP100
    4. Creating Excel Spreadsheets when needed.
    5. Support the Manufacturing Shop when needed
    6. Being able to multitask on multiple jobs/projects that can change at any time.
    7. Ability to convey information to operators with a lesser skill level.
    8. Take a formed drawing and mentally unfold the flat pattern.
    9. Travel Requirements: When needed for training purposes.
    10. Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conforming product

    1. Timely responsive reports and documents  
    2. Specified accurate inspections and measurements of the part geometry.
    3. Meeting safety performance targets  

  1. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. None

  1. QUALIFICATIONS
    1. Mechanically adept
    2. Attention to detail
    3. Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands
    4. Good people & communication skills
    5. Computer literate
    6. Able to read all precision measuring instruments and tools
    7. Ability to read and interpret blueprint specifications
    8. Having the desire to learn something new.
    9. Understanding the shop process flow.
    10. Having Brake, Laser, or Punch Experience is a plus
    11. Willing to work overtime when needed.
    12. Willing to work an eight, nine, or ten hour shift within the following hours. (4:30 AM till 6:00 PM.)

  1. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    1. A high school diploma or equivalent along with three years of shop experience.
