What’s the role?
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will own a focused expansion motion within Lightyear’s existing customer base. You will analyze customer network data, identify cost optimization opportunities, and guide customers through decision-making and execution. This is a highly analytical, customer-facing role with direct ownership of commercial outcomes.
This is an early role on the Customer Success team with meaningful ownership and the opportunity to help define how this motion scales.
This position will be full-time, remote, and salaried with $150k - $160k+ OTE cash compensation, with additional compensation in equity (compensation determined by experience and fit).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer network and inventory data to identify reshop and cost savings opportunities (e.g. procuring or renegotiating existing network services)
- Build clear business cases that quantify customer impact and commercial value
- Present recommendations to customer stakeholders and guide decision-making
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations to scope, quote, and execute opportunities
- Own execution through completion, maintaining momentum and accountabilit
- Contribute to playbooks, processes, and tools to make this motion repeatable
- 4+ years of sales or account management experience in telecom or B2B SaaS with a record of high performance
- Excellent communication skills - you write a great email and can deliver a clear, persuasive presentation
- Energy, grit, and flexibility needed to thrive in a constantly changing work environment
- An innate ability to self-start, prioritize, and creatively problem-solve
- Strong analytical skills with comfort in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to communicate data-driven recommendations clearly and confidently
- Bonus if located in Austin (Hiring Manager is based in Austin)
