Overview
The IT Enterprise Architect will lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-wide IT architecture. This role ensures technology infrastructure is aligned with business goals, scalable, secure, and efficient. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee technical projects, and provide strategic input into the organization’s IT direction.

Location: Remote with travel
Schedule: 
1st Shift with the ability to work outside of normal business hours for any emergencies including weekends based on business needs.
Travel: 
Up to 20% travel to any of our customer’s USA sites.
Compensation: 
$125,000–$155,000 annually plus bonus, based on experience, skills, and education. Includes comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders, IT management, and key stakeholders to identify architectural needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology trends and how they can benefit the organization.
  • Facilitate communication across the IT organization to ensure cohesive technology solutions.
  • Serve as the coordinator and central point of responsibility for architectural project efforts.
  • Provide clear direction, facilitate alignment across stakeholders, and ensure timely decision-making and follow-through.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to drive architectural excellence.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT architecture strategy aligned to the organization’s business objectives, in partnership with EA leadership to shape and influence the IT roadmap.
  • Ensure alignment with the global IT architecture strategy, incorporating enterprise standards, priorities, and initiatives when building the strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with EA leadership to define, maintain, and promote architectural standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency, security, and scalability across all IT platforms and services.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the Enterprise IT Environment.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage risks associated with IT architecture and system integration, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery measures are in place.
  • Manage budget allocations for architectural projects, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering on time and within budget.

Preferred QualificationsMinimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale architecture initiatives across multiple platforms (cloud, on-premises, hybrid).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures.
  • Familiarity with network architecture, data storage solutions, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices, automation tools, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Professional certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF Certified), cloud platforms, or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with advanced architectural modeling tools and governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence senior leadership.
