Role Overview: The Technical Architect will play a pivotal role in evaluating the current platform architecture and crafting a forward-thinking, resilient design that enables marketplace functionality, high-performance scalability, and seamless integration of AI capabilities. This position is instrumental in guiding the technical trajectory of our platform as it evolves into a modular, secure, and extensible digital ecosystem.

The architect will be responsible for conducting a holistic assessment of our existing systems, pinpointing gaps and strategic opportunities, and developing a comprehensive Current vs. Target State Architecture Blueprint. This blueprint will highlight a scalable technology stack and provide architectural direction across component integration, API strategy, user interface flows, and platform modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Current-State Architecture Review

Perform an in-depth analysis of the platform’s present architecture, encompassing backend systems, UI flows, API integrations, and data infrastructure.

Identify bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, technical debt, and scalability issues.

Thoroughly document the current architecture and system interactions.

2. Future-State Architecture Design

Develop and document a target architecture supporting robust scalability and marketplace enablement.

Produce a clear Current vs. Target State Technical Architecture Blueprint, detailing migration strategies, dependencies, and a transformation roadmap.

Recommend architectural patterns and platform capabilities such as microservices, modern APIs, service mesh, and plugin frameworks to enable both internal and external tool integration.

Ensure interoperability and streamlined access between diverse tools within a centralized marketplace environment.

Assess processes and technologies required for a discoverable, governable marketplace interface.

Identify innovative tools and services for future marketplace integration.

Lead performance tuning, scalability analysis, and security assessments for AI and marketplace platforms.

3. Technology Stack & Component Matrix

Assess and recommend platforms/tools for AI/ML integration, cloud-native architecture, API management, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.

Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on experience in Android/iOS development using Kotlin, Swift, Python, and big-data frameworks.

Mobile Ecosystems and Marketplaces: Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing large-scale mobile app ecosystems.

Front-End Development: Strong proficiency in mobile data visualization and user-centric tool development.

Cloud Platforms: Skilled in leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with modern data infrastructure.

Nice to Have: Familiarity with Salesforce for advanced CRM integration and management.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Clearly communicate architectural decisions and technical roadmaps to audiences ranging from deeply technical to non-technical stakeholders.

Create robust documentation and visual aids (architecture diagrams, flowcharts, matrices) to inform decision-making and support implementation planning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

10+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture, with a track record in platform design and modernization.

Proven expertise in building applications across web, mobile, and GenAI environments.

Solid knowledge of open standards and technologies.

Expertise in integrating AI, with strong knowledge of data and model management within architectural frameworks.

Thorough understanding of data privacy, security protocols, and compliance requirements, especially for AI systems.

Practical experience designing and integrating centralized marketplaces (internal developer platforms, app stores, tool hubs).

Solid grasp of AI/ML principles, frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face), and deployment strategies such as MLOps.

Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and API-first designs.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in creating and communicating architecture blueprints, process assessments, and technical roadmaps.

Deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java).

Knowledge of platform governance, tenancy models, and plugin architectures for scalable marketplace solutions.

Nice to Have:

Experience in architecting and integrating extensible marketplaces or platform ecosystems.

Knowledge of AI integration and architectural considerations for data and model management.

Understanding of data privacy, security protocols, and compliance as it relates to AI systems

Understanding of AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face), and deployment strategies (e.g., MLOps).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and API-first architectures.

Preferred Skills:

Experience creating and communicating architecture blueprints, process assessments, and technical roadmaps.

Strong understanding of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java).

Understanding of platform governance, tenancy models, and plugin architectures for marketplace models.
