About the role

The Lead Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and documenting IT systems that align with the organization's needs. This position is at the Senior/Lead level, requiring and individual not only possess strong background in enterprise architecture and IT solutions, but the ability to lead a team of more junior enterprise architects.


What you'll do

  • Work closely with the customer and other systems engineers and development engineers to comprehend customer objectives and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business representatives, and subject matter experts to design IT systems in synchronization with the needs of the organization.
  • Create roadmaps and regulations guiding IT designs and implementation.
  • Develop and implement integrated EA and IT portfolio management guidance to assist investment decisions and planning based on industry best practices.
  • Assist with providing EA analysis and high-level data for investment decision making.
  • Conduct quantitative and trend analysis of data
  • Optimize enterprise-wide investment information through the integration of EA and governance.
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Extract data from IT portfolio management and enterprise architecture tools and tailor for presentation to stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Oversee the execution and delivery of work product for a team of Enterprise, Systems, and Data/Information Architects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology changes, industry trends, and IT Governance/Architecture models, advising teams on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • 4+ Years experience in Business Analysis, Systems Architecture, System Design, and IT/Technology Infrastructure Design and Planning in support of DOD Enterprise Architect Functions with at least 2+Years as a Senior/Lead Architect
  • Knowledge of or certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF (Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework), DODAF (DOD Architecture Framework).
  • Knowledge and awareness of new and emerging technologies/governance such as AI and Zero trust (preferred)
