About the role

Concept Plus is seeking an Enterprise Digital Platforms Architect to serve as the senior technical authority responsible for the architecture, modernization, integration, governance, and lifecycle management of the customer enterprise digital platforms and web application ecosystem. This position provides strategic technical leadership across Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Copilot, Drupal, custom web applications, cloud services, enterprise integrations, and DevSecOps to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and user-centered solutions that advance the customer's digital transformation objectives.


Working closely with customer leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams, the Enterprise Digital Platforms Architect establishes enterprise architecture standards, guides modernization initiatives, evaluates emerging technologies, and ensures digital platforms remain secure, interoperable, and aligned with evolving mission requirements.


What you'll do

  • Serve as the senior technical authority for the architecture, design, modernization, integration, governance, and lifecycle management of the customer's enterprise web applications, collaboration platforms, and digital services.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise application architecture, technical standards, governance frameworks, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps supporting current operations and long-term modernization initiatives.
  • Lead the architecture and engineering of enterprise solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure services, Drupal, and related collaboration and content management technologies.
  • Architect secure, scalable, and resilient custom web applications utilizing .NET technologies, JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, cloud-native services, and modern application development practices.
  • Design and oversee enterprise integrations between learning management systems, ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph, enterprise identity services, business applications, data repositories, and other mission-critical systems using industry-standard integration patterns and APIs.
  • Lead the evaluation, architecture, governance, and implementation of enterprise AI capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, intelligent search, conversational AI, and workflow automation solutions that improve knowledge management, user productivity, and digital learning experiences.
  • Establish and mature DevSecOps practices across the application portfolio, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, configuration management, release management, and continuous monitoring.
  • Ensure enterprise applications comply with applicable Federal cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility, and software development requirements, including RMF, NIST 800-53, Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF), Zero Trust Architecture, OWASP, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, cloud services, commercial best practices, and digital capabilities to identify opportunities that improve mission performance, operational efficiency, security, and the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders, product owners, cybersecurity personnel, infrastructure engineers, developers, and functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, interoperability objectives, and long-term sustainability goals.
  • Develop architectural documentation, technical standards, engineering guidance, implementation strategies, migration plans, interface specifications, and technical recommendations supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and engineering oversight to development teams by establishing development standards, promoting best practices, resolving complex technical issues, and fostering continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
  • Support strategic planning, technical evaluations, and executive briefings by providing subject matter expertise on enterprise applications, cloud technologies, collaboration platforms, AI capabilities, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience designing, developing, architecting, and supporting enterprise web applications and digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Azure, Drupal, and modern web application technologies.
  • Experience leading enterprise application modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives within complex enterprise or Federal environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting solutions utilizing .NET technologies, RESTful APIs, Azure services, Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise application integration, identity and access management, API design, cloud architecture, and application lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust Architecture, Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF), OWASP, and Section 508 compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership, Government stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, intelligent automation, or enterprise AI capabilities.
  • Experience supporting higher education, learning management systems, knowledge management, or enterprise training environments.
  • Experience administering or architecting Acquia-hosted Drupal environments.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, identity federation services, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with containerized applications, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • CISSP certification
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • ITIL Foundation
