General Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead enterprise-wide projects and programs from initiation through closure.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and governance structures.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Manage project scope and control changes through established governance processes.
Drive project execution while balancing competing priorities across departments. - Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and functional teams.
Facilitate alignment between business, technology, operations, and external partners.
Provide regular project status reporting and executive-level communications.
Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts proactively. - Risk & Issue Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Escalate critical issues and dependencies appropriately.
Develop contingency and recovery plans when necessary.
Monitor project health and implement corrective actions. - Financial & Resource Management
Manage project budgets and track financial performance.
Coordinate resource allocation across multiple teams and departments.
Ensure efficient utilization of project resources.
Support business case development and benefits realization tracking. - Continuous Improvement
Promote best practices in project and program management.
Facilitate lessons learned and post-implementation reviews.
Contribute to PMO maturity and process improvement initiatives.
Mentor project managers and project team members when appropriate. - Oversee compliance and adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS), and all policies and procedures related to position assignment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's (Master's preferred) degree in Business or Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of project management experience managing large-scale enterprise initiatives.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex organizational environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience with project portfolio management and governance processes.
- Strong business acumen in defining and implementing operational systems and procedures in various functional areas.
- Ability to evaluate existing business processes and propose simplification
- Strong communication and leadership skills to set direction and keep the organization focused on reaching objectives.
Other Essential Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working & leading within a PMO environment.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and thrive in providing clarity & direction during chaos
