The Opportunity

We're looking for a highly motivated and coachable Sales Development Representative to join our team. You will own the initial stages of the sales process, acting as the first point of contact for new prospects and qualifying them for our Senior Enterprise Sales Executives. This is a key entry-level role on our sales team where you will work collaboratively with sales, sales engineering, customer experience, and marketing to win new business. For the right candidate, there is a clear learning path to Sales Executive, so if that is your goal, this position would be the perfect place to start your sales career with KaiNexus.

What You'll Do

  • Research proactively and identify potential customers through various channels, including LinkedIn, cold calling, and email campaigns
  • Engage with potential clients, listen to their challenges, and determine if they are a qualified lead
  • Schedule meetings & product demos for the Sales Team 
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine messaging 
  • Meet consistently and exceed quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Bring your knowledge of using AI tools to find and target Enterprise-level organizations, or come to us with an open mind to learn to use these tools

What You Bring

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Self-motivated and organized, with excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • A proven track record of resilience and success in performance-driven environments
  • Proficiency with CRM software 
  • Authorization to work in the U.S is a requirement for this position
  • Bonus Points: Experience in lead generation or other sales-related roles and/or working in a startup environment
