Our implementation specialist for start-ups position focuses exclusively on onboarding new clients while providing excellent client/advisor service. Our implementation specialist position is supported by a strong sales group, back office, plan document team, and compliance department.  
 
Nova 401(k) Associates is a vibrant and growing national third party, non-producing administration firm. We have a nationally recognized sales team allowing us to grow continuously and provide advancement opportunities for our professionals.   

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide excellent client/advisor experience during the implementation phase of their plan 
  • Act as a liaison between clients, advisors, and platform providers during the implementation phase of the plan 
  • Assist clients with plan provision inquiries to ensure a basic understanding of plan operation 
  • Participate in weekly calls with clients, financial professionals, and platform providers to manage plan timelines 
  • Manage the technical setup and data entry for new retirement plans within internal systems. 
  • Audit and process plan data, including census information, plan documents, prior compliance testing, and IRS forms. 
  • Review plan adoption agreements and complete technical provision paperwork for various platform providers. 
  • Coordinate with internal sales, document, and compliance teams to ensure all plan specifications are met. 
  • Configure internal software and maintain accurate records of plan transitions. 
  • Monitor implementation timelines and update internal tracking systems to ensure project milestones are hit. 
  • Perform all administrative tasks in strict accordance with Nova policies and quality standards

Qualifications: 

  • Associates Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience in client implementation/onboarding, back-office administration, data entry or similar
  • Ability to manage workload towards weekly goals in a “results only” environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and ability to multi-task 
  • High level of critical thinking 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, solve problems, and take initiative  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy  
  • Coachable and committed to professional development 

 

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Base Salary $55,000 - $70,000, based on experience 
  • Salaried, non-exempt 
  • Medical, dental, disability and life insurance 
  • Paid time off 
  • 401(k) Plan with Employer Match 

 

Work Location/Hours: 

  • Work from home 
  • Must work from the USA and be authorized to work for any US employer 
  • We will supply all necessary computer equipment 
  • 40-hour work week
