Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to become part of the Executive transportation Planning team in San Antonio, TX.
The selected candidate will lead and support in development, implementation and maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Candidate will provide direct support to the production team that is working on the aircraft and will be seated out near the aircraft. Team member will be responsible for assisting in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues. May also be responsible for collecting data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs. Team member will work under close supervision.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement.
  • Create installation planning shipside in San Antonio.
  • Work with a cross functional support team to resolve manufacturing constraints
  • Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects.
  • Work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.
  • May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
  • CATIA experience.

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $71,400 - 96,600
