Our team is here to help our customers tackle the initiatives and challenges on their organizational roadmap, and give clinicians, operational teams, and researchers access to the data they need to take care of their patients and improve health outcomes.

Cardamom is cultivating a multidisciplinary team of exceptional individuals with diverse skills and experiences in healthcare — data, analytics, AI, and EHR application experts. We are also passionate about growing the careers of those who may have little or no experience in these fields when the opportunity arises. Our team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, revenue cycle professionals, and certified application specialists would love for you to join us.

About the Role

We are seeking Epic Bridges & Interface Analysts to join a dedicated integration team supporting a large health system through a long‑term managed services partnership. These roles focus on Epic Bridges interoperability and/or interface engine development, building, maintaining, and supporting interfaces across clinical and operational workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with the client’s interface engine vendor during their migration from an on‑prem engine to a cloud‑based platform, while your team provides Epic‑side and interface expertise throughout the transition and ongoing support.

What You’ll Do
  • Build, configure, and support Epic Bridges interfaces across clinical and business domains (ADT, orders, results, scheduling, billing, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain interface engine components (Rhapsody, Corepoint, Cloverleaf, Ensemble/Health Connect, etc.)
  • Monitor interface queues, resolve errors, and ensure reliable message flow between systems
  • Perform HL7 v2 mapping, troubleshooting, and validation during interface development and ongoing support
  • Partner with the client’s interface engine vendor during the cloud migration, providing Epic‑side and engine‑side expertise and testing support
  • Participate in integration testing, cutover planning, and post‑go‑live stabilization
  • Maintain documentation, mapping tables, and change control artifacts
  • Collaborate with Epic TCs, vendor PMs, and internal stakeholders to support new and existing interface needs
Qualifications
  • Epic Bridges Certification — Required for Bridges‑focused roles
  • 3–10+ years of Epic Bridges build/support experience
  • Strong HL7 v2 experience across core message types (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU)
  • Experience supporting interface migrations or large‑scale interoperability projects
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based interface engines (Rhapsody, Corepoint, Cloverleaf, Ensemble/Health Connect) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on reliability and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration abilities
