The ERP and Business Intelligence Project Manager leads technology projects involving ERP systems, Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft infrastructure. This person manages project schedules, resources, support tickets, vendors, risks, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ERP, Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft infrastructure projects from planning through completion.

• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, resources, and expected results.

• Manage project schedules, priorities, dependencies, risks, and change requests.

• Coordinate internal teams, business departments, software providers, consultants, and other vendors.

• Manage technical support tickets and project-related requests.

• Establish ticket priorities based on business impact, urgency, and available resources.

• Monitor ticket aging, response times, resolution times, and recurring problems.

• Review support and project data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

• Provide management with clear project updates, performance reports, and risk summaries.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business users and technical teams.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, project tasks, and acceptance criteria.

• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, process improvements, and data projects.

• Coordinate testing, user acceptance, training, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Maintain project plans, meeting notes, decision logs, risk registers, and technical documentation.

• Help establish project management, ticket management, and change-control standards.

• Confirm delivered solutions meet business, security, performance, and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least five years of experience managing technology projects.

• Experience with ERP systems, implementations, upgrades, integrations, or business process improvements.

• Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL databases, and Microsoft infrastructure.

• Experience managing support tickets through systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Dynamics, Zendesk, or a similar platform.

• Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, change management, testing, and deployment.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience working with technical teams, business leaders, software vendors, and external consultants.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional, PMP, certification or similar qualification.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Radius, SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, or a comparable ERP platform.

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methods.

• Knowledge of data governance, system integrations, reporting, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operations.

Success Measures

• Projects meet approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

• Support tickets receive proper ownership, priority, and follow-up.

• Leadership receives accurate and timely project and support information.

• Recurring technical issues decrease through root-cause analysis and corrective action.

• Business users receive reliable systems, clear communication, and effective support.
