Overview

Our State Government Practice Group is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team as a contingent hire serving state government finance and administration clients. You will support and advise clients in project management of systems, policy, and organizational projects. Your first project will be supporting the State of Missouri as part of an Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) team. You will report to the IV&V engagement manager.

  

Travel Expectations: The planned project work is located full-time in Jefferson CIty, MO. Candidates must be located within commutimg distance or willing to relocate to Jefferson City upon accepting the position. Travel to client sites on other future projects can range up to 50%.

You Will
  • Collaborate with team members to plan, develop and implement project activities to achieve project and client goals.
  • Lead and support compliance effort, analyzing requirements, assessing deliverables, communicating findings to client
  • Lead and support independent validation and verification (IV&V) reviews and reporting
  • Ability to lead team of consultant to complete project activities, establish procedures, and manage schedule
  • Prepare and/or edit status reports, executive briefings, and presentations
  • Interact with team members for preparation of progress report, submission of deliverables, and action items
  • Identify potential risks and issues to project success
  • Create and maintain document templates
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Develop and present client communications, both written and verbal
You Have
  • 7 years of experience of public sector ERP financial system experience
  • Experience with public sector ERP system implementations, including requirements traceability and user acceptance testing
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance
  • Ability to create and sustain positive working relationships with staff and diverse constituencies and work independently as well as collaboratively as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication including tactful communications with difficult messages
  • PMP certification preferred
  • IV&V and/or project management experience preferred
Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
