We are looking for an Events & Programs Intern to join our Marketing Team for our 10-week summer internship program. This intern will report into our Events and Programs Manager and will focus on optimizing high-impact tradeshow and educational networking program. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to help scale training programs across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical industries supporting initiatives that strengthen relationships, drive engagement, and create long-term impact. This is a remote position and requires the individual to live within the greater New York Metropolitan City area and attend a tradeshow in New Orleans, LA on June 17-19, plus travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY for TradeMaster training events and the internship on-site meeting on July 14-15. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and you’re also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond this visit – our doors are always open.

Role Type: Intern

Location: Remote, Based in the greater NYC Metropolitan area

Length of Program: June 1st – August 7th (10 weeks)

Internship On-Site Meeting: July 14th – July 15th

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of a national training and education strategy focused on providing CEU-eligible (Credit Education Units) programs for tradespeople across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical industries
  • Assist in researching CEU requirements, accreditation standards, and governing bodies across states and trade associations to support scalable program planning
  • Help coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions, including scheduling, registration tracking, presenter support, and attendee communications
  • Assist in the planning and execution of tradeshows and industry events, supporting timelines, task lists, and day-to-day coordination
  • Help prepare event materials and collateral by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure assets are produced and delivered on time
  • Assist with event logistics, including shipping coordination, inventory tracking, booth supplies, and on-site setup or breakdown support as needed
  • Support post-event reporting by gathering data on attendance, lead capture, engagement, and feedback
  • Assist with on-site event operations, including registration support, booth organization, and troubleshooting basic issues
  • Conduct research on upcoming events, vendors, venues, and industry trends to support future planning and optimization
  • Provide general administrative support to the tradeshow and vendor education team, ensuring smooth execution across multiple programs

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Marketing or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets to track budgets, attendance, CEU credits, and program metrics
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting emails, agendas, and training documentation
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of projects in a remote work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
  • Curious mindset with an interest in education, training, and business development within the skilled trades
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow processes while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
