Ever wanted to save a life?  We are looking for a Software Engineer to focus on our Manitou™ Software. Manitou is a comprehensive platform designed specifically for the Security and Alarm industry.  Manitou alarm monitoring software solutions stand at the forefront of ensuring the safety and security of life and property. Designed as a centralized hub, this powerful software monitors and manages a wide array of security alarms and surveillance systems. Its capabilities extend to intrusion detection sensors, motion detectors, fire alarms, and video surveillance cameras.

Responsibilities: Working with a team of industry experts to design and develop sophisticated software that delights our customers. You will be creating innovative new features, integrating with many 3rd party services, modernizing our platform, and helping us drive customer success by debugging and maintaining our existing software.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • 7+ Years of Coding experience in C# and .NET
  • Experience in Angular and AngularJS front-end development
  • Experience developing web applications, APIs, and services
  • Experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant, highly available and maintainable systems.
  • Knowledge of common architectural patterns and best practices
  • Experience debugging and testing complex systems

Nice to Haves:

  • C++ Experience
  • Windows Forms and MFC Applications
  • VB6 and COM component experience.
  • Experience writing unit tests, mocks, and TDD techniques
  • Experience with Windows services
  • ASP.NET MVC Web Experience
  • Familiarity with best practices for DevOps
  • SignalR and WebSocket experience
  • Video integration knowledge

Where: Remote
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $125K-$150K USD in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above
