The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Associate Executive Director for Central Services. This role is critical to the efficiency, effectiveness, and professionalism of the Central Services section of SIL. The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, mission-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment with multiple stakeholders.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support
- Provide direct administrative support to the Associate Executive Director for Central Services, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
- Serve as a key point of contact between the Associate Executive Director for Central Services and her direct reports, staff and external partners
- Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Anticipate leadership needs and proactively manage priorities
Central Services Leadership Support
- Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, and minutes
- Support and monitor Central Services departments in carrying out organizational leadership processes (i.e. reporting, processing strategic plans with their depts)
Operations & Office Management
- Manage office operations, systems, and administrative processes
- Maintain confidential files and organizational records
- Support HR-related administrative tasks such as onboarding, scheduling, and documentation
Development & Program Support
- Assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, and database updates
- Support fundraising events and program-related logistics
- Collaborate with development and program staff on administrative needs
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting senior leadership, ideally in a nonprofit setting
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Occasional travel, paid for by SIL Global
- Compensation Structure: This role is funded through a support-raising model, with training, coaching, and organizational support provided.
