We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to facilitate the implementation and sustenance of Human Resources practices and concepts amongst employees of the assigned business team, ensuring the consistency of same whilst, engaging in employee motivation initiatives thereby focusing on instilling the best HRD practices that would effectively meet employee development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the team’s manpower requirements by reviewing, understanding same on a regular basis whilst, communicating the requirements to the expert team to ensure the right candidate is sourced at the right time.
  • Ensure that the recruitment requisition forms are handed over in a timely manner whilst, assisting the expert team in obtaining the finalized recruitment spec to facilitate the effective communication of same.
  • Liaise with the HODs and the center HR team with regard to fulfilling the needs and requirements of new recruits.
  • Ensure that all employees have their JD’s and assist in the updating same by coordinating and liaising with the relevant HOD’s and Divisional HR expert team.
  • Ensure that the department structure is updated on a monthly basis in line with the monthly head count report and forward same to the divisional team for their perusal.
  • Facilitate the Performance Management Process of the Business Unit by coordinating with department heads and work with them in ensuring KPI’s are set and performance reviews are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Understand the changing needs of the business and culture in an in-depth manner by allocating sufficient time with the Business team to support the managers in achieving HR related requirements whilst, taking necessary initiatives to ensure employee wellbeing and develop team spirit.
  • Monitor the HR KPI’s for the division in an accurate manner and report same to both Divisional Manager.
  • Ensure that confirmations are completed and letters are handed over in a timely manner whilst, coordinating with the relevant HR point person to ensure that training passports are handed over upon confirmation.
  • Coordinate the internal surveys and monitor the level of employee satisfaction whilst, taking active measures to improve employee retention.
  • Handle the team’s grievances at a manageable level whist, coordinating with relevant HR personal to solve same in an effective manner.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant field. 
  • 2 - 3 years of work experience in Human Resources. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills. 
  • IT literacy.
