The Boeing Company is currently seeking multiple Software Engineers (Associate/Experienced/Senior) to join the Mission Systems Software team located in Daytona Beach, FL. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design and implement new capabilities in the Operational Flight Program (OFP) for both the United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers. The candidate will join one of the multi-discipline Agile scrum teams that develop, integrate, and maintain a wide range of aircraft functionalities. Software capabilities will be developed for the Advanced Display Core Processor II (ADCP II), the brains of the Eagle. The successful candidate will implement and test new cutting-edge capabilities and integrate them with a variety of other aircraft subsystems.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
  • Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
  • Executes and documents software research and development projects
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
  • Troubleshoots software issues
  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Daytona Beach, FL.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 2+ years of experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
  • 2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Agile/SAFe development experience
  • Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
  • Experience developing embedded real-time software
  • Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)

Travel: less than 10%.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate: $77,000.00 - $137,000.00
Summary pay range for Experienced: $98,000.00 - $173,000.00
Summary pay range for Senior: $124,000.00 - $220,000.00
