What You'll Do
At moss.ag, we build robots to go where humans won't, digitizing the physical outdoor world to make it machine-readable. Starting with tree farms — where a single field holds millions of plants no human has ever fully inventoried. 🌲🤯🌳
We’re a small team of practical engineers with a long-term vision. We focus on real, messy, on-the-ground problems today, while working toward a future where autonomous field robots make harsh outdoor jobs easier and safer.
If our mission aligns with how you work and think, we’d love to learn more about you!
Join us as the first Marketing Intern on a fast-moving team of seven. Here, you'll lead marketing campaigns and content creation, craft messages that reach customers, investors, and future moss team members. You'll own projects across social media, newsletters, sales materials, and branded merchandise. You will shape how moss shows up in the world.
Be ready to work across the full content lifecycle: ideation, copywriting, graphic design, production, and distribution across digital and physical channels, while taking a data-driven approach to test, measure, and refine marketing strategies through ongoing experiments and iteration.
We're looking for part-time and intern candidates for co-ops, summer, and semester-long roles.
- Portfolio of creative work demonstrating design or content skills
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and compellingly for different audiences
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva
- Strong visual sensibility and understanding of brand consistency
- Comfortable making creative decisions independently, even with minimal direction
- Experience with social media content creation and/or email marketing platforms
- Comfortable working across both digital and print/physical media formats
- Develop and schedule content across moss's social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.)
- Write, edit, or/and design customer and investor newsletters on a recurring cadence
- Create marketing materials for trade shows and industry events (signage, handouts, demo videos)
- Create customer materials such as user guidelines, video tutorials, deployment reports
- Concept, design, and procure branded merchandise (apparel, accessories, swag)
- Maintain a consistent moss voice and visual identity across all outputs
- Collaborate closely with the ops and engineering teams to translate technical work into compelling stories
