About the Role

We’re hiring a Field Marketing Manager to own the creation and execution of high-impact field marketing programs that strengthen relationships with key accounts, accelerate deal cycles, and drive measurable revenue.

You’ll act as the strategic connector between marketing, sales, and partners—working side-by-side with sales to understand account landscapes, uncover opportunities, and design personalized experiences that directly influence pipeline and move deals forward across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the strategy and execution of regional trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, ABM activations, executive experiences, and partner-led programs from planning through follow-up

  • Partner closely with sales on account planning to identify engagement opportunities, co-develop playbooks, coordinate executive meetings, and deliver consistent, high-impact messaging

  • Own event performance measurement by tracking engagement, pipeline, and revenue impact in Salesforce dashboards and continuously optimizing programs based on ROI insights

You’re a Fit If You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, ABM, or event marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or high-growth startup environments

  • Proven success partnering closely with sales on 1:1 and 1:Few engagement strategies that drive pipeline and revenue

  • Strong relationship-building skills with executives and decision-makers in high-touch, in-person settings

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex event programs end-to-end, with a strategic yet detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have

  • Comfort using Salesforce to track, measure, and optimize field marketing program effectiveness, with willingness to travel and work flexible hours to support events

Austin’s tech scene spans many verticals, but it’s particularly known for hardware, including semiconductors, as well as AI, biotechnology and cloud computing. And its food and music scene, low taxes and favorable climate has made the city a destination for tech workers from across the country.

Key Facts About Austin Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 180,500; 13.7% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Dell, IBM, AMD, Apple, Alphabet
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, hardware, cloud computing, software, healthtech
  • Funding Landscape: $4.5 billion in VC funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Live Oak Ventures, Austin Ventures, Hinge Capital, Gigafund, KdT Ventures, Next Coast Ventures, Silverton Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Texas, Southwestern University, Texas State University, Center for Complex Quantum Systems, Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, Texas Advanced Computing Center
