The Venue Coordinator will manage fan services operations, oversee volunteers, ensure accessibility services, and coordinate event information delivery to enhance fan experiences during the FIFA World Cup 26™.

THE POSITION
This role is designated as match day-only and includes participation in a select number of required training sessions scheduled ahead of the tournament. Reporting organizationally to the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Lead, the Venue Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Fan Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Headquarters and other key individuals responsible for delivering a positive fan experience.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Venue Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Serve as a point of contact for the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Lead on all Fan Services Operations
- Manage the Gate Supervisors ensuring they are briefed, and have the operational equipment required
- Responsible for the deployment, briefing and overall management of the Fan Operations volunteers
- Ensure that critical event and venue information is available to fans and staff through multiple channels
- Coordinate with Audio Descriptive Commentators
- Oversight of the Restricted Item Storages located across the stadium
- Work alongside the Accessibility team to ensure all mobility and accessible services are delivered to a high standard
- Responsible for the maintenance and deployment of company assets and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and solve any potential issues
- Other duties as assigned by Fan Operations Venue Lead

Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in event management and/or operations roles
- Experience working and collaborating with large teams
- Public speaking experience
- Leadership experience, specifically with part time staff and/or volunteers a plus
Languages
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools.
