Job Summary
The Finance Business Partner role is a manager level role centered on collaboration, insight generation, and operational impact. This role interfaces directly and often with line-of-business leaders to optimize operations, identify and execute revenue growth opportunities, and guide pricing and strategic decisions. This position emphasizes partnering with business owners, building their financial acumen, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with the Enterprise BI team to co-create datasets and dashboards, ensuring leaders have timely, actionable intelligence. Success looks like measurable improvements in unit economics, conversion/retention, services margin, pricing effectiveness, and overall operational efficiency.

Essential Functions
- Business Partnering & Decision Support:
- Serve as the primary finance point of contact for designated business units and product lines
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Build financial fluency across business owners—coach leaders on drivers, unit economics, and trade-offs
- Partner with central FP&A and Accounting for forecast inputs, variance narratives, and ad hoc executive readouts
- Revenue & Enablement
- Analyze recurring revenue (ARR/MRR), churn/retention, expansion, and upsell dynamics; develop insights to improve growth quality
- Partner with Sales/CS on pipeline health, pricing/discounting discipline, and customer/product economics
- Support go-to-market motions with cohort and product analyses, segmentation, and performance diagnostics
- Pricing & Strategic Projects
- Support pricing strategy, packaging, and monetization initiatives, including post-launch performance reviews
- Conduct SKU-level profitability analysis to identify underperforming products and opportunities for margin improvement
- Develop pricing frameworks for new SKUs, including tiered pricing, bundling strategies, and value-based pricing models
- Partner with Product and Sales to rationalize SKU portfolio, eliminating low-value SKUs and consolidating overlapping offerings
- Monitor price realization and discounting trends across SKUs; implement guardrails to protect margin integrity
- Lead packaging optimization initiatives to align offerings with customer segments, improve attach rates, and drive upsell/cross-sell
- Build scenario models for strategic decisions (e.g., product investments, partnerships, portfolio changes)
- Data & BI Collaboration
- Co-create datasets and dashboards with Enterprise BI; refine metric definitions and governance for ARR, churn, cohort KPIs, services utilization/margins, pipeline conversion, and customer health
- Collaborate with BI to create SKU performance dashboards, tracking adoption, revenue contribution, and profitability by segment
- Drive metric literacy and adoption across the organization; ensure “single source of truth” alignment

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in finance, analytics or strategy roles
- Demonstrated success influencing senior business leaders and driving measurable operational or commercial outcomes
- Strong proficiency with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and unit economics
- Software/SaaS experience with recurring revenue models (ARR/MRR), implementation/professional services, and related revenue streams highly preferred
- Comfort with data tools including strong MS Excel skills and partnering with BI/analytics teams; adept at defining metrics and working with or building dashboards
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing data and analytical tools (e.g. Power Query, Power BI, SQL, etc.) to improve manual or Excel-based work
- Continuous improvement mindset including solution seeking and personal skills development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to distill complexity into clear narratives and recommendations
- Ability to work cross functionally and build trusted relationships throughout the company
- Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and effectively deliver results withing a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
- Experience working with private equity stakeholders
- SaaS technology, Healthcare IT or healthcare services industry experience preferred
- NetSuite and Salesforce.com experience preferred
- Experience working with enterprise planning software preferred (e.g. Adaptive, Planful, Anaplan, Pigment, etc.)
