Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings). Research any complex accounting treatment issues and provide interpretation of accounting standards Finance team to ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with standards promulgated by the Financial Accounting Standards board. Prepare any ad hoc financial reports for bank, holding firm, consolidated and/or individual operating units upon request. Prepare limited general ledger reconciliations, ensuring the reconciliations are completed timely and accurately. Review various reconciliations prepared by teammates, ensuring balances agree to supporting documentation and identifying any stale items. Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to ensure that the books and records are in compliance with U. S. GAAP. Complete regulatory reporting, including various Call Report schedules, various Y9C schedules and the Y9LP, and well as assisting with the compilation of materials for regulators. Participate in the quarterly SEC Reporting framework. Ensure the department complies with laws, regulations, accounting standards and internal policies/procedures to protect the asset quality of the organization and produce financial reporting that is accurate and timely including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Serve in a leadership capacity, supervising and mentoring team members to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently. Conduct coaching sessions and complete routine human resources-related responsibilities, as necessary. Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and personal, and refer clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate. Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
