We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Finance & Accounting team. This individual contributor role ideally has at least five years of experience in corporate finance, strategic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll own critical processes such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and investment evaluation that help drive business performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Cash Flow Forecasting

This individual will assume full ownership of the cash flow forecasting process, ensuring strategic liquidity management.

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Own and manage the end-to-end cash forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely projection of inflows and outflows to support precise financial planning. This includes maintaining and enhancing the core cash flow model.

  • Data Oversight: Direct the gathering of necessary data from various departments and groups to feed the cash flow model.

  • Monitoring & Action: Monitor actual cash flow against forecast targets, quickly identifying and explaining variances. Develop corrective actions or recommendations to optimize working capital and maintain target liquidity levels.

Compliance & Stakeholder Reporting

The Finance Manager will own and deliver external compliance and reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate communication to the company's Private Equity (PE) partner and debt lenders.  This role requires the management of strict weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycles:

  • Weekly Reporting: Oversee and deliver key operational metrics and a high-level cash flow summary to the PE partner, highlighting immediate trends and critical risk factors.

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly financial reports, including a full three-statement package, client metrics, and other company-specific data points, all with detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast. This includes a management discussion and analysis (MD&A) specifically tailored for the PE partner.

  • Quarterly Reporting: Manage the preparation of formal quarterly financial statements and certifications required by debt covenants. This involves calculating and certifying key financial ratios for the debt lenders to ensure the company remains in compliance.

  • Data Accuracy & Audit Readiness: Ensure that all financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders are accurate, timely, and prepared in compliance with company standards and reporting requirements.

  • KPI Tracking & Evaluation: Direct the gathering of key data and the evaluation of performance indicators that are specifically tracked and monitored by the external partners.

Comprehensive Three-Statement Modeling

This role will be accountable for modeling and forecasting the Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows to ensure a complete and accurate three-statement model.

  • Balance Sheet Modeling: Lead the maintenance and continuous enhancement of the Balance Sheet forecast, ensuring it articulates the financial impact of all relevant inputs and influences, including incorporating leading indicators into the forecast.

  • Integration & Validation: Ensure complete integration between the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet within the financial models.

  • Asset & Liability Management: Oversee the forecasting of critical Balance Sheet components, particularly the management of working capital accounts, to optimize operational efficiency and minimize risk.

M&A and Related Due Diligence

  • Due Diligence Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end financial due diligence process for all potential M&A activity. This includes coordinating data requests, managing virtual data room (VDR) review, and managing the analysis performed by internal teams and external advisors (e.g., auditors, investment banks).

  • Valuation & Modeling: Own the creation and maintenance of detailed financial models for acquisition targets, including valuation models, pro forma financial statements, synergy models, and Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses.

  • Post-Acquisition Integration Planning: Develop detailed financial integration plans in partnership with operational teams, focusing on aligning accounting policies, tracking future synergies, and establishing clear financial reporting immediately post-closing.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present clear, concise, and compelling due diligence findings, valuation summaries, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team, Private Equity partners, and internal deal sponsors.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, investment banking, corporate development, or transaction services/advisory (e.g., Big Four).

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, including building and manipulating three-statement financial models, valuation models, and accretion/dilution analyses.

    • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience applying accounting principles to areas like revenue recognition and purchase accounting.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial issues into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive audiences.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.

  • Preferred: CPA, CFA, or MBA is a significant advantage.

  • Preferred: Familiarity with Google Suite is a major plus.
