Compensation: $65 - $90 per hour

Join a cutting-edge AI research initiative and help shape the next generation of Large Language Models. We are seeking experienced Finance Specialists with strong industry expertise to contribute high-quality financial knowledge and real-world judgment to AI model training and evaluation. Your expertise will help improve AI systems' ability to reason through complex financial concepts, analyses, and decision-making scenarios.

This is a fully remote, independent contractor opportunity with flexible scheduling, allowing you to contribute meaningful work while maintaining your existing commitments.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Partner with research and engineering teams to improve AI models' understanding of financial concepts, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Design realistic, domain-specific finance tasks and develop accurate, well-reasoned reference solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs using structured evaluation frameworks, providing detailed written feedback on accuracy, reasoning, and financial judgment.
  • Create, refine, and maintain scoring rubrics and evaluation guidelines for finance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with fellow subject matter experts to ensure consistency, quality, and reliability across training datasets.
  • Help identify knowledge gaps and recommend improvements to enhance AI performance in finance-related use cases.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Investment Banking
    • Asset Management
    • Corporate Finance
    • Accounting & Audit
    • Corporate Treasury
    • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Professional certification required:
    • CFA
    • ACA
    • ACCA
    • CPA
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week during weekdays.
  • Experience translating complex financial concepts into clear, structured explanations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing financial models, valuation analyses, budgeting, forecasting, or investment research.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards, regulatory frameworks, and corporate financial analysis.
  • Prior experience reviewing technical work, creating documentation, or developing evaluation frameworks.
  • Interest in AI, data quality, or emerging technologies is a plus.
