Responsibilities

About the role:

In this role, you will analyze financial information, trends, and forecasts to support strategic business decisions. You will develop complex models, reporting, and analytics to provide P&L insights, support various projects, and prepare ad hoc analysis for management.

In this role you will:  

  • Analyze financial information, including trends and forecasts.
  • Perform detailed data analytics to extract and allocate sub-ledger financial transactions
  • Develop, evaluate, and monitor complex models and reporting.
  • Create models and analytics to enable P&L views for products and various projects.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis for management.
  • Perform time studies as needed
Qualifications

What makes You an ideal candidate? 

  • Ability to develop skillset of financial analysis software (i.e., Oracle EPM, Oracle EBS, Cognos).
  • Introductory knowledge of financial models and tools such as NPV, IRR, etc.
  • Maintain working knowledge of data/information sources.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and programming languages such as SQL and Python
  • Understanding of common database structures and querying strategies
  • Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) or like products. Ability to effectively translate knowledge into feasible strategies, policies and processes.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents.
  • Ability to use historical trends to develop dynamic models.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Good excel skills (i.e., recording and debugging macros, charting, pivot tables).
  • Good presentation and business writing skills.
  • Good validation skills

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:  

  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
  • Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
  • Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection

Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours.

Work Experience & Education
 

  • 0-2 years of prior experience in data analytics,  forecasting, cost analytics, and P&L Reporting preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience experience; in Finance, Accounting or similar field required
  • Master’s Degree
