We are looking for a highly motivated and curious Senior Financial Analyst - Sales to support our Sales and Finance teams with data-driven insights, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. In this role, you’ll help our fast-growing SaaS company understand sales performance, optimize revenue streams, and support planning and forecasting efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, financial modeling skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Some of the key activities in this role include:

  • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales results, pipeline trends, and customer segmentation to evaluate business performance and recommend actionable insights.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Partner with Sales and Finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets. Maintain ongoing forecast updates and variance tracking.
  • Revenue Tracking: Monitor revenue and key metrics by product, sales team, and sales rep; assist in identifying growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Dashboard & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support sales leadership and executive decision-making.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain models for sales compensation, quota attainment, pricing analysis, and ROI for marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Ops, and Finance Executives to ensure alignment on targets, initiatives, and outcomes.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform deep-dive analyses on sales trends, customer behavior, deal economics, and other key business drivers as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field, with Finance or Accounting preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in sales finance or commercial finance
  • Experience in a high-growth, B2B, or SaaS environment
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI), CRM systems like Salesforce and Clari, and ERP or FP&A systems (e.g., NetSuite, Cube)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple business insights
  • MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus but not required
