Job Summary:

The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing Fullsteam’s core financial systems, including NetSuite, Zuora, FloQast, Brex, and Tipalti, ensuring they are stable, scalable, and aligned with accounting and business needs. This role leads the Financial Systems team, manages key vendor relationships, and partners cross‑functionally with Accounting, Treasury, CRM, and Operations teams to support accurate financial reporting, efficient month‑end close, and reliable integrations. The Financial Systems Manager proactively identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, leverage automation and emerging technologies (including AI), and eliminate manual or low‑value work while keeping leadership informed of system performance, risks, and enhancements

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Systems Ownership

  • Own the day‑to‑day health, configuration, and optimization of NetSuite, Zuora, FloQast, Brex, Tipalti, Paystand, Checkout, GoCardless and OneSource.

  • Oversee financial system integrations to ensure accurate data flow and strong controls.

  • Partner with Accounting and Treasury to support month‑end close, reconciliations, audit readiness, and continuous close improvements.

  • Monitor system upgrades and changes and identify relevant changes that should be implemented for Fullsteam.

  • Ensure effective change management controls and processes are followed. 

Efficiency, Automation & Innovation

  • Identify future opportunities to drive efficiency across financial systems and processes, reducing manual effort and recurring operational work.

  • Evaluate and leverage automation, AI, and new technologies to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and eliminate busy work.

  • Drive and push for actionable changes required to implement streamlined, standardized, and scalable processes across teams.

  • Partner with stakeholders to move improvements from concept to execution, ensuring adoption and measurable impact.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and oversee the Financial Systems team, setting priorities, assigning work, and ensuring clear ownership across systems and integrations.

  • Establish standards for system changes, access controls, documentation, and operational support.

  • Support team development and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Vendor & Platform Management

  • Own vendor relationships for financial systems including key billing SaaS payments platforms.

  • Manage vendor performance, support escalations, enhancements, and roadmap alignment.

  • Coordinate testing, implementation, and communication of vendor‑driven changes.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the CRM team and Operations to manage and govern integrations between CRM platforms and NetSuite, ensuring clean handoffs for integrations to NetSuite.

  • Collaborate with cross functional Corporate teams to align system behavior with business and financial requirements.

Communication & Governance

  • Provide regular updates to management on system performance, risks, enhancements, and upcoming initiatives.

  • Ensure financial systems and processes scale effectively as the organization grows.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience with FloQast, Brex, Tipalti, and payment providers such as Checkout.com or GoCardless.

  • Experience driving automation, process optimization, or AI‑enabled improvements in a finance or systems environment.

  • Experience in a high‑growth or acquisitive organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience supporting financial systems, including NetSuite and billing or revenue platforms such as Zuora.

  • Experience managing system integrations, vendors, and cross‑functional initiatives.

  • Prior experience leading or overseeing a systems or integrations team.

  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls (US GAAP).

  • Ability to translate technical system topics into clear, actionable guidance for accounting and leadership teams.

Salary Range: $81,687-$116,000 USD
