Firstmark Services is the operational division for consumer loan servicing within Nelnet Diversified Services. We provide innovative and flexible financial solutions that enable our clients’ success and deliver a positive experience to their customers.The Specialty team is responsible for high-risk functions and requires detail-oriented individuals that perform with a high degree of quality. The Firstmark Services Specialist I - Specialty provides a superior customer experience, performing multiple complex duties, and researching unique issues within the Specialty team. The Firstmark Specialist I – Specialty associate will be responsible for prequalifying and processing customer’s cosigner release, loan modification, credit reporting and disputes, ID Theft/Fraud and bankruptcy processing.
Must reside in Nebraska, Texas, or Wisconsin.
Starting pay rate of $16.50 per hour
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines.
Identify trends and problems.
Maintain procedure and process map changes.
Research and resolve complex and unique accounts.
Work with internal and external customers; resolving issues.
Maintain files on problem accounts, items and transactions.
Provide information to other areas of the company.
Develop, maintain and distribute reports as necessary.
Provide backup support as directed by leadership team.
Provide training as needed.
Perform quality control functions as needed.
Work on special projects as assigned by leadership team.
EDUCATION:
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Business or Accounting preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
2 - 3 years of customer service, general office, accounting and research experience preferred.
Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.
