REAL is building an AI Execution Platform for real estate organizations. Today, the data required to run real estate is scattered across PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, drawings, public records, and disconnected systems, leading to preventable leakage, missed obligations, and lost opportunities.

Used by leading enterprises, REAL transforms fragmented information into connected intelligence and automated action. Our AI-powered platform helps customers improve operational accuracy, uncover financial opportunities, and make better business decisions.

We’re looking for our first Forward Deployed Engineer in the U.S. to help build one of the most strategic functions at REAL.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with some of the largest commercial real estate organizations in the world, partnering closely with customers on-site across the U.S. to understand their business, design AI-driven workflows, and deploy production-ready solutions that deliver measurable business value.

As the first member of this function, you’ll help define how REAL delivers AI at enterprise scale. You’ll own customer engagements end-to-end—from discovery and solution design through implementation, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with customers, navigating ambiguity, and turning AI capabilities into real business outcomes.

REAL Values

Ownership – We take responsibility and move decisively.

Clarity – We simplify complexity to deliver meaningful impact.

Accuracy – Precision matters in everything we do.

Velocity – We move fast and execute with purpose.

Partnership – We succeed by working closely together.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner directly with enterprise customers, both remotely and on-site across the U.S., to deeply understand their business processes, technical architecture, data flows, and operational challenges.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, gather business and product requirements, and translate complex customer needs into scalable AI-powered solutions.
  • Design, build, configure, and deploy production-ready AI agents, integrations, and workflows that operate reliably within customer environments.
  • Work hands-on with APIs, enterprise systems, structured and unstructured data, and customer infrastructure to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Own customer engagements from technical discovery through implementation, deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization.
  • Drive measurable business impact by identifying new AI use cases, increasing platform adoption, and helping expand customer accounts over time.
  • Act as a strategic technical partner, helping customers unlock additional value from the platform and supporting account growth alongside Customer Success and Sales.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to influence the product roadmap based on customer feedback and emerging use cases.
  • Create reusable implementation playbooks, tools, and best practices that help scale the Forward Deployed Engineering function as REAL grows.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites across the U.S.

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or other highly technical customer-facing roles.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building production-quality software and working across complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data pipelines, databases, and enterprise software architecture.
  • Experience working with AI agents, LLMs, automation platforms, or enterprise AI applications.
  • Experience leading technical customer engagements from discovery through deployment while balancing technical depth with business impact.
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into scalable product capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with enterprise customers, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • High level of ownership, technical curiosity, and the ability to independently solve ambiguous technical and business problems.
  • Comfortable traveling regularly across the U.S. to work on-site with customers.
  • Passion for building AI-powered systems that solve real business problems and create measurable customer value.

BenefitsWhy Join REAL?
  • Be the first Forward Deployed Engineer in the U.S. and help build this function from the ground up.
  • Work directly with the founders and some of the world’s largest commercial real estate organizations.
  • Spend time on-site with customers, solving complex real-world problems and seeing your work create immediate business impact.
  • Help shape the future of enterprise AI at the intersection of technology, product, and customer success.
  • Join a fast-growing AI company already trusted by leading enterprise customers.
  • Competitive compensation with significant opportunities for growth as the company scales.
