Vantheon is a research lab studying how AI will disrupt investing across economic classes. We believe the tools of wealth creation have been locked behind institutional walls for too long. We are here to change that.

Who you are:

You are a product engineer with 2-5 years of experience building snappy, intuitive user experiences at scale. Your expertise spans from designing high-quality and polished interfaces to implementing performant NextJS / React architectures that feel instant and delightful. You have strong opinions on how to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring every interaction drives user engagement and satisfaction.

You are deeply passionate about your craft and draw inspiration from products like Notion, Linear, and Cursor. You stay current with the latest developments in frontend technology and design patterns. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can experiment, iterate, and push the boundaries of what's possible with modern web experiences. You don’t need a product designer to build an experience customers love, you empathize with the needs of the customer and carry your own design sense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a crisp, intuitive agent IDE that developers love to use

  • Implement beautiful performance reporting dashboards with integrated charts, graphs, and key metrics

  • Develop an engaging onboarding flow that helps new users discover and adopt core features

  • Optimize frontend performance through code splitting, caching strategies, and rendering optimizations

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate user needs into elegant UI/UX solutions

  • Build reusable component libraries and design systems that scale across the product

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals with deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript

  • Hands-on experience building production web applications with complex state management and real-time interactions

  • Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and component registries like Shadcn for rapid, consistent UI development

  • Eye for design with the ability to implement polished interfaces from mockups or create them from scratch

  • Knowledge of modern CSS techniques, animation libraries, and responsive design patterns

  • Understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

  • Ability to balance innovation with pragmatism - shipping working solutions while pushing technical boundaries

Bonus:

  • Strong interest in the stock market

  • Background building React Native products

  • Has used Wall Street Bets or After Hours

Vantheon is a small team building something that actually matters. If you think the tools of wealth creation should be accessible to everyone, you’ll fit in here. We move fast, take ownership seriously, and hold each other to a high standard.

We take care of the people who build with us: 100% health insurance coverage (50% for dependents), unlimited PTO, a $2,000 annual AI learning stipend, 401k, and an on-site chef for those working out of the office.
