About the Role

We’re hiring a Founding Engineer to join us full-time on-site in Austin, TX. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of our technical roadmap, working closely with leadership to design, build, and scale the platform that powers Voxology’s healthcare automation. This role requires deep technical skills, hands-on execution, and a builder’s mindset—someone ready to shape both the product and engineering culture from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Own Voxology’s technical roadmap and drive vision, architecture, and execution.

  • Design, architect, and build scalable AI products: data pipelines, model training, fine-tuning, and deployment.

  • Ship features across backend and frontend (Python/React).

  • Develop and maintain APIs, services, and user interfaces.

  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on new AI features and automations.

  • Collaborate with product, leadership, and go-to-market teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production-grade software (startup or fast-growth preferred).

  • Ability to design, architect, and build end-to-end AI products and platforms.

  • Proven experience with AI/ML pipelines (training, validation, inference).

  • Fluency in TypeScript and Python, with strong testing habits.

  • Proven skill with PostgreSQL (schema design, performance tuning, migrations; multi- tenant/HIPAA a plus).

  • Comfort with DevOps & IaC (GitHub Actions, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes) and on call ownership.

  • Experience with RPA tools or custom automation.

  • Hands-on experience—or strong passion—for LLM tool-calling, prompt design, and model orchestration in production.

  • Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of the latest developments in LLMs, generative AI, and emerging AI research.

Nice to Have

  • Voice AI, speech-to-text, or conversational AI.

  • Healthcare tech, HIPAA-compliant systems, or EMR/EHR integrations.

  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud infrastructure.

  • High-growth SaaS experience.

What We Offer

  • Founding Team Equity: Meaningful ownership in what you help build.

  • Competitive Compensation: Salary designed to attract top-tier talent.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: High-quality health coverage.

  • In-Person Collaboration (Austin, TX): Work closely with the founding team for rapid iteration and deeper connection.

  • Relocation Assistance: Support for candidates moving to Austin.

  • Impact: Help define a new category in AI-driven healthcare—and revolutionize the broken patient experience.
