The Role
Black Ore Technologies is looking for a highly skilled founding GTM professional to partner closely with our executive team, business operations team and product team to drive revenue growth for our Company. In this role, you’ll support existing customers, enabling them on our product and driving upsell, as well as manage the full funnel for new prospects, from generating top of funnel pipeline through to closing new customers. Go-to-market is highly strategic for Black Ore and an equal partner to our R&D efforts, therefore we seek talent that can collaborate well with our product & engineering team, translating customer needs and feedback into actionable insights for product development.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Go-to-Market – Minimum 4+ years in quota carrying roles
- Track Record of Top Decile Quota Attainment – Consistently exceeding 100% quota attainment and topping the leaderboards in prior roles
- B2B Fintech or Financial Software – Go-to-market experience with B2B technology sold to finance and/or accounting professionals
- Account Executive Background - Experience in a prospect closing role
- Account Management Background - Experience in a customer mgmt role
- Sales Tools Experience - Required familiarity with Salesforce, experience with other tools (Hubspot, Clay, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication - Able to clearly distill information and feedback to a wide range of stakeholders (executive, business, product, engineering)
- High Ownership - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving startup environment
- Fast Learner - Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new tools, techniques, and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial Acumen - Experience or degree in finance or accounting
- SDR/BDR Background – Experience in an outbound sales prospecting role
- Accounting Firm Sales - Experience selling to accounting firms
- High Growth Startup – Experience operating in a high growth, high autonomy environment
