There’s a good chance you’ve already come across us while online shopping from ASOS, PUMA, Gymshark, Charlotte Tilbury, or any other of the 500+ global brands we work with.

Becoming a Mentioneer means you’ll be joining a driven team, with big plans, at a genuinely exciting time for our business.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven outbound-focused Founding SDR to own new business pipeline generation across the US market. This is an outbound-focused role responsible for prospecting into e-commerce brands that fit Mention Me’s Ideal Customer Profile, using a mix of targeted outreach and AI to personalise at scale.

Day-to-day, you’ll research target accounts, book and run qualification calls with senior marketing decision-makers, uncover pain points, and tailor Mention Me’s pitch accordingly. You’ll work closely with the London-based Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams on multi-touch campaigns, while keeping CRM data clean and continuously optimising your outreach for conversion.

As our founding US SDR, you won’t just be filling a quota — you’ll be helping us understand the US market, refine our messaging for American e-commerce brands, and lay the groundwork for a larger US sales presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect and qualify new business opportunities through calls, emails, Apollo, and LinkedIn outreach — with a creative, persona-led approach that directly connects our offering to each prospect’s pain points.
  • Research and target high-potential ecommerce brands across the US that align with Mention Me’s Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Lead with insight: confidently introduce Mention Me’s suite of products and tailor your pitch to each prospect’s specific marketing challenges.
  • Book and run qualification calls with key decision-makers, uncover pain points, and set up high-quality meetings for our Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the London-based Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales teams to build multi-touch campaigns and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Act as Mention Me’s eyes and ears in the US market — feeding back intel on how American ecommerce brands talk about acquisition, referral, and growth.
  • Keep your CRM data spotless, track outreach metrics, and continuously optimise for better conversion rates.
  • Use AI tools to personalise outreach and operate efficiently at scale.
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity targets and qualified opportunity goals.

Requirements

We'd love to meet you if you:

  • Have at least 1 year of outbound SDR experience, with a proven track record of booking and converting qualified opportunities.
  • Have experience selling to ecommerce brands and understand the challenges faced by marketing and acquisition teams in that space.
  • Bring a true hunter mentality — motivated by targets, driven by growth, and never afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Have experience in SaaS, marketing technology, or agency environments.
  • Are solution-oriented: able to understand a brand’s challenges and position Mention Me’s offering as the answer.
  • Have excellent communication skills — articulate, persuasive, and engaging both in writing and on calls.
  • Are self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote role, collaborating with a team across time zones.
  • Are excited by the idea of being a founding hire and helping shape how Mention Me shows up in the US market.
Why Join Mention Me?
  • A market-leading product suite trusted by world-class brands
  • A fast-moving sales team where results and ambition are rewarded
  • A collaborative, supportive environment that values initiative and ownership
