Hopper is hiring its Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and scale the top of the funnel for our advertising business. This is a foundational role with high visibility and a direct impact on revenue growth.

You’ll be responsible for prospecting new advertiser opportunities, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, and partnering closely with Account Executives to book high-quality meetings. Beyond prospecting, you’ll help define SDR best practices, tooling, messaging, and processes as the function scales.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a sales career while helping shape how an SDR organization is built from the ground up.

What would your day-to-day look like:
  • Own outbound prospecting efforts across travel and adjacent advertiser verticals

  • Research and identify high-potential advertiser accounts and key decision-makers

  • Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, Conferences) to generate qualified meetings

  • Qualify inbound leads and route opportunities appropriately

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to align on target accounts, messaging, and meeting quality

  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, lead status, and pipeline data in CRM

  • Help build SDR playbooks, outreach templates, and prospecting best practices using AI wherever possible

  • Provide feedback to leadership on market response, objections, and demand signals

An ideal candidate has:
  • 2-5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, curious, and motivated to learn

  • Comfortable with outreach, rejection, and iterative testing

  • Interest in digital advertising, media, or travel technology

  • Self-starter mentality with a desire to help build something new

Bonus Points
  • Previous SDR/BDR experience at a SaaS, media, or ad tech company

  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) or sales engagement platforms

  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting best practices
