The Freelance Content Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, licensing, and managing high-quality ad content from various platforms to improve marketing performance and accelerate testing velocity.
The summary above was generated by AI

Our paid performance is bottlenecked by insufficient content volume. We've identified ad creative supply as the primary blocker to scaling Opal's growth.

To maintain and improve our paid marketing performance, we need a constant pipeline of fresh, high-converting content that can be tested rapidly and scaled when it wins. Right now, we don't have the internal capacity to source, license, and negotiate rights at the velocity required.

Why This Role Matters

Without a steady flow of new ad creative, we can't:

  • Test new angles and hooks fast enough

  • Scale winning campaigns without creative fatigue

  • Compete effectively in saturated auction environments

This hire directly unblocks growth by ensuring our paid team always has fresh, high-quality content to test and scale.

Expected Business Impact
  • License 25+ pieces of content per week that meet quality and performance standards

  • Improve ad performance by constantly feeding the creative pipeline with fresh, diverse angles

  • Reduce creative fatigue by ensuring we always have winner content ready to scale

  • Accelerate testing velocity so we can identify top-performing creatives faster

Key Responsibilities
  • Source high-quality content from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube that aligns with Opal's brand and converts

  • Negotiate licensing rights with creators (small and large)

  • Manage relationships with creators for ongoing content partnerships

  • Collaborate with paid team to understand what's working and iterate sourcing strategy

  • Track and organize licensed content library for easy access

Success Metrics (First Month)
  • 20+ licensed videos per week consistently delivered

  • X% of sourced content becomes winner ads (to be defined with UA team)
