Summary of Position:

We are seeking talented Freelance Graphic Designers across Associate, Mid, and Senior levels to join our creative team. As a Graphic Designer at NVE, you will help create experiences and campaigns for some of the world’s biggest, boldest and most beloved brands. This is a mid-level role that involves developing 2D comps and engaging designs across various platforms and mediums. The Graphic Designer will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every project meets NVE’s high standards of creativity and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce visual assets for a variety of brand experiences and campaigns
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate innovative creative ideas
  • Serve as a brand steward, maintaining brand consistency across all visual materials
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Help prepare final artwork for production, ensuring all files meet technical specifications
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work
  • Present design concepts to internal teams and clients, articulating design rationale
  • Revise designs based on feedback, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Mentor less experienced designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback

Qualifications:

  • You have a portfolio that makes other designers drool ((spec work is okay if it shows your thinking)
  • You embody NVE’s behaviors – be courageous, be committed, be curious, be catalysts, and be good citizens
  • You are proficient in 2D design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and have experience using AI to support the design process
  • You are confident, passionate and have a POV, but not an ego – you know that this work takes teamwork
  • You are a lifelong student of creativity and design – you love what you do and it shows

Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time

Location

We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in LA or NY, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.
