We provide therapy, psychiatric services, TMS, and other behavioral health solutions while continuing to expand through organic growth, acquisitions, and technology innovation.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Freelance WordPress Developer to help maintain, improve, and expand our healthcare website while ensuring security, performance, and privacy best practices.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Freelance WordPress Developer to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our healthcare website. The ideal candidate has strong WordPress development experience, understands website security best practices, and is familiar with HIPAA/privacy considerations when working with healthcare-related websites and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fix website bugs, layout issues, and performance problems.

  • Maintain and update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

  • Build custom pages, features, forms, workflows, and integrations.

  • Develop and maintain REST API and third-party integrations.

  • Configure website forms, booking tools, CRM connections, and approved marketing tools.

  • Apply WordPress security best practices, including backups, SSL, malware protection, and user access management.

  • Ensure healthcare privacy and HIPAA-aware handling of sensitive website data.

  • Document major website updates, fixes, and technical recommendations.

Skills/Knowledge
  • Strong WordPress development and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with custom themes, plugins, and REST API integrations.

  • Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare privacy considerations.

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and Meta Event Manager.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications/Requirements
Required
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.

  • Experience building custom WordPress features and third-party integrations.

  • Strong understanding of WordPress security and website performance optimization.

  • Familiarity with healthcare websites and privacy-conscious development practices.

  • Ability to safely work in production and staging environments.

  • Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and, if required, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) or similar confidentiality agreement.

Preferred
  • Experience with healthcare, therapy, or HIPAA-sensitive websites.

  • Experience with Elementor, JetEngine, Wordfence, WPCode, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Calendly, CRM integrations, or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of consent banners, cookie management, and privacy-safe analytics implementation.

Project Duration

This is a project-based engagement with a timeline that is currently not fixed.

The project scope includes website maintenance, enhancements, and the development of new features based on evolving business and marketing requirements. The selected freelancer will review the project requirements and provide estimated timelines for each phase or deliverable before work begins.
