Who Our Clients Are Looking For

Experts in their field: You have a demonstrated history of owning the full bookkeeping process for multiple clients, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, categorizing expenses, and generating monthly financial reports.

Meticulous Record Keepers: Proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring books are up-to-date in alignment with client goals and priorities. Experience with managing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements and coordinating with external CPAs during tax season to ensure all necessary documentation is organized and submitted.

Data-Driven: Expertise in preparing financial statements and delivering insights to help clients understand their business performance.

Confident Communicators: You have strong written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt your communication style to a variety of client priorities and personalities, collaborating directly with clients and their teams to collect necessary documentation, resolve discrepancies, and respond to financial questions.

Self-Starters: You are comfortable with jumping into open-ended problems as a problem solver. You can confidently assess the best courses of action, recommend clear paths to solution, and implement solutions with little to no oversight.

Skilled Project Managers: You seamlessly adapt to changes, stay on top of deadlines, and are able to skillfully manage multiple priorities.

Tech-Savvy Doers: You are comfortable with a variety of web-based financial and accounting tools including Quickbooks Online.

What to Expect

  • A roster of 3-8 ongoing clients - you get to choose which clients you take on
  • A flexible schedule. Our clients are mostly looking for weekday availability with most client-expected project turnaround times being within 1-2 days
  • 100% remote work with limited opportunities for onsite work
  • Hourly pay starting at $30/hr

Requirements
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
  • U.S.-Based
