Build full-stack, user-facing web features integrating AI/LLMs; optimize prompts and model behavior; design scalable architectures and agent-based systems; collaborate cross-functionally and ship production-ready solutions.
At BETA Technologies, we apply our intellectual curiosity, passion for aviation, and commitment to sustainability toward a shared mission of revolutionizing electric aviation. Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture.
Our Digital Operations team is leading the way to transform the organization into a fully AI-enabled enterprise.
We need engineers who can bridge the gap between powerful AI models and production-ready experiences that solve real user problems.
This isn't just about writing prompts – it's about building resilient systems that can handle the unique challenges of working with AI at scale and can solve some of the industry's most interesting problems like memory, agent-to-agent collaboration, non-deterministic repeatability, and more.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Drive full-stack feature development from conception to deployment, taking ownership of key product initiatives
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of user-facing features that improve the overall user experience
- Build robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
- Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing systems
- Optimize prompts, fine-tune AI model behavior, and rigorously evaluate performance
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our digital products
- Stay at the forefront of agent-based products and emerging AI capabilities
- Ship your first PR on day one
Minimum Qualifications:
- A humble attitude, eagerness to support teammates, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed
- Strong full-stack foundation — from building frontend components to developing APIs and integrating third-party services
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLMs into real-world applications
- Proficiency with modern development practices and meaningful real-world experience
- Experience working on user-facing products, with the ability to distinguish signal from noise through direct customer engagement
- Willingness to work hard, move quickly and effectively, and adapt rapidly in a changing environment
- Exceptional ability to learn, execute, and teach others
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to leverage off-the-shelf tools when appropriate, along with a passion for building internal tools that accelerate your own and your teammates’ workflows
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven experience building multi-agent systems capable of performing complex tasks
- Previous experience as a core builder (not a manager) at a high-growth startup
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Strong understanding of agent orchestration and the ability to design simple, elegant systems
This role may not be a fit if:
- You prefer working exclusively on one part of a system without direct customer interaction
- You are uncomfortable with a fast pace and change driven by business needs
- You are uncomfortable with ambiguity and require highly structured requirements
