About the Role:

The Full Stack Product Manager, Investor Platform & Internal AI Tools is a hands-on product builder responsible for improving Crunchbase’s value to investors and venture ecosystem participants through investor-facing product experiences, structured feedback loops, and targeted internal AI-powered tools.

The primary charter for this role is to build investor-facing product experiences and feedback loops that deepen engagement with investors, venture firms, founders, and other ecosystem participants. The secondary charter is to build internal AI-powered tools and workflows that improve operational efficiency across Crunchbase.

This is not a roadmap-only Product Management role. You will own work end to end: identifying opportunities, gathering user and stakeholder feedback, defining requirements and success metrics, designing solutions, writing code, building prototypes, shipping usable experiences, and measuring impact.

This role requires hands-on technical execution. You will be expected to write, understand, debug, deploy, and maintain code using modern AI-assisted development approaches, including vibe coding, spec-to-code workflows, rapid prototyping, and iterative debugging. No-code or low-code tools alone are not sufficient for this role.

For this role, “production-ready” means ready for internal teams to use in a limited-access environment. Internal systems should be reliable enough for day-to-day workflows, documented sufficiently for users and stakeholders, secure enough for the relevant data and access patterns, observable enough to debug issues, and maintainable by the person in this role without ongoing Engineering ownership.

What You'll Do:

Investor Platform & Feedback Loop Development

  • Build and evolve investor-facing product experiences that improve Crunchbase’s value to investors, venture firms, founders, and venture ecosystem participants.

  • Establish and operate structured feedback loops, including advisory groups, beta programs, early access cohorts, customer interviews, demos, office hours, and product feedback channels.

  • Act as the voice of investors and venture ecosystem users within the Product organization.

  • Translate qualitative feedback and behavioral signals into product requirements, experiments, prototypes, and roadmap recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve investor engagement, adoption, satisfaction, and product-market fit.

  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Revenue, and Operations teams to convert investor insights into high-impact product opportunities.

  • Measure the impact of investor-facing initiatives using adoption, engagement, retention, satisfaction, and business outcome metrics.
Internal AI Tools & Operational Enablement

  • Build internal AI-powered tools and workflows that improve operational efficiency across Crunchbase.

  • Identify manual, fragmented, repetitive, or brittle workflows and replace them with scalable internal systems.

  • Design and implement tools that integrate data, AI models, automation, APIs, and user workflows.

  • Deploy tools in limited-access internal environments for use by Crunchbase teams.

  • Own the ongoing maintenance, debugging, documentation, and improvement of the internal tools you build.

  • Ensure internal tools are reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable for their intended use case.

  • Help internal teams adopt AI-powered workflows in practical, measurable ways.
    Product Management & Solution Ownership

  • Define product opportunities, user problems, business requirements, and success metrics.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on user impact, business value, urgency, and implementation complexity.

  • Translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements, technical approaches, prototypes, and shipped solutions.

  • Break initiatives into iterative milestones and manage delivery from discovery through launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Make thoughtful tradeoffs across speed, quality, usability, maintainability, cost, and risk.

  • Measure adoption, engagement, operational impact, and business outcomes after launch.
    Full Stack Product Development

  • Write, modify, debug, and maintain code using modern AI-assisted development workflows.

  • Use vibe coding, spec-to-code workflows, rapid prototyping, and iterative development to move quickly from problem definition to working software.

  • Build prototypes and production-ready internal tools that real users can rely on in limited-access environments.

  • Integrate data sources, APIs, AI models, automation platforms, and user interfaces into functional workflows.

  • Own performance, reliability, documentation, and ongoing improvements for the systems you build.

  • Know when a solution is appropriate for direct ownership and when it requires deeper Engineering partnership for scale, security, or long-term infrastructure needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Revenue, Operations, and business teams to identify high-impact product and operational opportunities.

  • Work directly with investors, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand needs and validate solutions.

  • Communicate clearly about priorities, tradeoffs, technical constraints, risks, and expected outcomes.

  • Contribute to the evolution of modern product development practices across Crunchbase.

What We're Looking for:
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, product engineering, solutions engineering, founder/operator roles, or a comparable technical builder role.

  • Experience writing code and shipping usable software products, internal tools, or AI-powered workflows that real users relied on.

  • Demonstrated experience owning products or workflows from problem definition through launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Experience working directly with customers or users to gather insights and drive product decisions.

  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools, automation platforms, APIs, data workflows, or modern product development practices.

  • Experience building tools or workflows in limited-access production environments preferred.

  • Experience in SaaS, venture, fintech, marketplace, data-driven technology, or investor-facing product environments preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

  • Strong product judgment, including prioritization, scoping, requirements definition, experimentation, and tradeoff analysis.

  • Ability to write, understand, debug, deploy, and maintain code using modern AI-assisted development workflows.

  • Experience using AI-assisted development approaches, including vibe coding, spec-to-code workflows, rapid prototyping, and iterative debugging.

  • Ability to build usable internal tools, workflows, or product experiences that real users rely on.

  • Strong understanding of AI-powered systems, automation workflows, APIs, data integrations, and emerging development tools.

  • Strong customer discovery skills, including the ability to gather, synthesize, and translate user feedback into product decisions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Strong customer empathy with the ability to balance user needs, business objectives, technical complexity, and operational constraints.

  • Ability to own solutions beyond launch, including documentation, debugging, maintenance, adoption, and measurement.
