Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Java/J2EE, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns. Build scalable solutions, write test classes, manage deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and apply Salesforce security, sharing, performance, and governor-limit best practices. Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA teams, and developers throughout design, development, testing, and support.
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and asynchronous processing.
- Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce UI solutions.
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Apply strong Java/J2EE development skills to support enterprise integrations and backend services.
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, controllers, test classes, and integration services.
- Work with Salesforce objects, SOQL, SOSL, governor limits, security, and sharing models.
- Participate in application design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers.
- Follow Salesforce best practices for code quality, performance, security, and deployment.
Requirements
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Apex.
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience with Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Strong knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce data models.
- Experience developing REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and enterprise application integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, security, profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
- Experience writing Apex test classes and maintaining high code coverage.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Salesforce deployment tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Location: They could be required onsite 3x per week, so they need to be in the Atlanta Metro area, but this could be flexible for the right candidates.
